With a background that includes a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and graduate work in fine arts at Columbia University, Christine Casarsa brings to her clients a keen sense of artistry and design. Her understanding of typography, aesthetics, color and clarity of messaging helps her to create pieces that have immediate impact and lasting appeal.
Christine began her graphic design career in high school working in advertising studios in Connecticut and then in Providence, Rhode Island. In New York she was an in-house book designer for HarperCollins Publishers. Working under Creative Director Harriett Barton at HarperCollins, Christine developed a deep appreciation for the nuances of type and design that continues to inform her work today. After moving from Manhattan to the Berkshires, Christine opened her own graphic design studio in Great Barrington, MA, where she works on a range of creative projects, from logos and websites to signage and marketing materials.
Christine also continues to work in the fine arts. Her paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, and are in private collections in the U.S. and abroad. To view Christine’s painting portfolio, visit christinecasarsa.com.
