Christine designed all the promotional materials for The 2014 Bidwell House Museum Gala Fundraiser. Highlighting the fact that there had been an art school on the premises from 1915-1936, this Gala event was a Garden Party celebration held in and around the The Berkshire Summer School of Art’s original Carrington Hall in Monterey, Massachusetts. The Hall and entire location of the former Berkshire Summer School of Art (adjacent to the current Museum’s property) is now privately owned, so the Gala was a special invitation to step back into part of The Bidwell House Museum’s history that is no longer accessible to the public. This project began with going through the original Art School catalogs, full of great photos of the artists in their wool bathing suits swimming in Lake Garfield, Plein Air classes, etc, beautifully designed with gorgeous motifs from the rich overlapping of art movements during that period. Christine designed the invitation package, event poster, large scale photo posters for display at the Gala, hang tag to go on the giveaway gift, small table top signage, and digital files for the Museum’s website and for FaceBook. Christine worked with Kathryn Roberts, VP of the Board, Eileen Mahoney, Director of Marketing, and Barbara Palmer, Executive Director, on this interesting local history project.
